Pueblo Inglés (English Village) brings native English speakers to picturesque villages and towns across Spain so that people can learn English with them. In the summer of 2010 we were tasked with capturing people?s attention with a viral campaign but on a very small budget. The goal was to get parents to send their kids to Pueblo Inglés rather than abroad. Instead of doing a traditional campaign highlighting the benefits of the Pueblo Inglés, we decided to highlight the possible disadvantages of learning English abroad. To do that, we embraced all that is politically incorrect and created series of free English lessons. Though it was quickly revealed that these were not your normal English classes, but rather satires of things you could encounter abroad. It was a hilarious campaign that showed that Spain was the best place for people to learn English.
